- Charity- This principal is the basis of all we do as Knights and as Catholics. To support of our church and community
through charitable acts. - Unity- None of us is as good as all of us. United as brother Knights, our efforts in support of the Catholic Church and our fellow men is our focus. Today nearly two million Catholic men are Knights. Through this collective effort the Knights of Columbus has raised well over 1 billion dollars in charitable contributions over the last decade.
- Fraternity- Fr. McGivney founded the Knights of Columbus, in large part, to provide assistance to the widows and
children left behind when the family breadwinner died. The Order's top-rated insurance program continues this
tradition today.
